Use of This and That in Hindi and English

This and That का प्रयोग सीखिए :-

This and That का प्रयोग किसी वस्तु को इशारे से बताने के लिए प्रयोग किया जाता है 

This:- यह    (पास के लिए ) (For nearby things)  

इसका उपयोग किसी एक व्यक्ति, चीज या स्थान को संदर्भित करने के लिए किया जाता है जो स्पीकर के करीब है |

This is used to refer to a single person, thing or a place that is close to the speaker.

  That:- वह      (दूर के लिए) (For far things)

  

इसका उपयोग तब किया जाता है जब व्यक्ति, वस्तु या स्थान अधिक दूर हो | 

That is used when the person, thing or place is more distant.                                        

This and That का प्रयोग एकवचन के साथ किया जाता है |
This and That is used with Singular Noun.

"is"  This and That की सहायक क्रिया है | 

"is" is the helping verb of This and That.

Affirmative Sentences:-

यह एक किताब है                  This is a book.

वह एक पंखा है                     That is a fan.

यह एक गाय है                     This is a cow.

वह एक घोड़ा है                    That is a Horse.

यह नमक है                         This is salt.

वह चीनी है                           That is sugar.

यह पवन है                           This is Pawan.

वह अमित है                         That is Amit.

Use of Possisive with This and That.

यह मेरी किताब है                 This is my book.

वह तुम्हारा घर है                   That is your home.

यह उनकी पार्टी है                 This is their party.

वह हमारा परिवार है              That is our family.

यह उसकी घडी है                 This is her watch.

वह उसकी गाड़ी है                That is his car.

Use of ('s) with This and That

We use it with the name

यह रमेश का घोड़ा है                   This is Ramesh's horse.

वह रोहन का कुत्ता है                   That is Rohan's dog.

यह रीना का कपडा है                  This is Reena's cloth.

वह कोमल की गाड़ी है                  That is Komal's car.

Negative Sentences

Use "Not" after the helping verb(is).

यह एक किताब नहीं  है                  This is not a book.

वह एक पंखा नहीं है                       That is not a fan.

यह पवन नहीं है                             This is not Pawan.

वह अमित नहीं है                           That is not Amit.     

यह उनकी पार्टी नहीं है                   This is not their party.  

वह तुम्हारा घर नहीं है                     That is not your home.

यह रमेश का घोड़ा नहीं है               This is not Ramesh's horse.

वह कोमल की गाड़ी नहीं है             That is not Komal's car.

Interrogative Sentences

क्या यह एक किताब है ?                 is this a book ?

क्या वह एक पंखा है ?                     is that a fan ?

क्या यह पवन है  ?                          is this Pawan ?

क्या वह अमित है  ?                        is that Amit ?     

क्या यह उनकी पार्टी  है  ?               is this not their party ?  

क्या वह तुम्हारा घर है  ?                  is that your home ?

क्या यह रमेश का घोड़ा  है  ?           is this Ramesh's horse ?

क्या वह कोमल की गाड़ी है  ?          is that Komal's car ?
